Philippine Airlines is an airline based in Asia and is the national carrier of the Philippines. Philippine Airlines has two important hubs these are Nino Aquino International Airport located in Manila and Mactan Cebu International Airport located in Cebu City. The airline currently serves 24 international destinations and 19 domestic destinations.

The carrier features two travel classes, Mabuhay Class (or Business Class), and Fiesta Class (or Economy Class). Passengers flying in Mabuhay Class will receive comfortable ergonomics seats, personal screens for on flight entertainment, as well as a full selection of international cuisine for the meals served during travel. Passengers flying in Fiesta Class will receive more basic services, but they still receive the same in flight video and audio entertainment.

The frequent flyer programme from Philippine Airlines is the four tiers Mabuhay Miles, which was designed as a merger of the former programs of the carrier, in 2002. The miles earned during flights can be redeemed for benefits on all the flights operated by the carrier. Some benefits that members can enjoy include access to VIP lounges, allowance for extra baggage, priority standby and priority check in, among others.

Philippine Airlines has a fleet size of 49 aircraft, which include Bombardier Dash 8, Airbus and Boeing planes. The airline has one subsidiary, Airphil Express, and together they operate flights throughout Asia-Pacific countries, and cities in Canada, the Western United States and Australia. These include destinations like Singapore, Hong Kong, Vancouver, Las Vegas and Brisbane. It also operates several non-hub routes, which include flights from Singapore to Jakarta, Vancouver to Las Vegas and flights from Sidney to Melbourne. The airline's main competitors include Air Philippines and Cathay Pacific Airways.
