As the flag carrier of Canada, Air Canada is the largest commercial airline in the country and is based at Montreal Pierre Elliott Trudeau Airport. This airline started in 1937 with a mission to provide quality service to North America, The Caribbean, Asia, Pacific Islands and Europe. Air Canada operates services to over 140 destinations, which allows it to service major cities throughout the world. The airline also operates a mixed fleet which consists of Boeing, Airbus and Embraer aircraft.

The airline offers two main travel classes of service namely Business and Economy class on all flights. On long-haul destination Air Canada offers Economy class and Executive First class. The executive class provides flat beds with wide seats for the passengers’ comfort, while the economy class provides delectable meal with comfortable spacious seats in a new style cabin interior. All cabins features in flight entertainment.

The frequent flyer programme of Air Canada is called Aeroplan, which allow members to earn miles rewards on tickets, hotel accommodations, and car rental. Aeroplan consists of three levels, namely prestige, elite and super elite. As a member of Aeroplan passengers will enjoy the comforts of the Maple Leaf Lounges while they wait to board, members will receive priority check-in and free luggage allowance.

Air Canada operates four subsidiary airlines, which includes Air Canada Jetz (based in Montreal), Air Canada Vacations and Air Canada Cargo (both based in Toronto), and Central Mountain Air (based in British Columbia). With all its subsidiary and partners Air Canada offers flight from Toronto, Calgary, Montreal and Vancouver to Jamaica, New York, Antigua, Hawaii, Mexico, Switzerland, Japan, Solomon Islands, Namibia, Greece, New Zealand, Edmonton, Halifax and Ottowa. The airline also has AMR Corporation, Delta Air Lines and WestJet Airlines as its main competitors.
