Tiger Airways is a low fares airline operating in the Asia Pacific Region with its main hub at Changi Airport in Singapore. The airline began operations from Singapore in 2004 and now offers cheap flights from Singapore to a variety of destinations across the region, including, Bangkok, Chennai, Chiang Mai, Cochi, Darwin, Hanoi, Guangzhou, Manila, Macau, Perth, Melbourne, Phuket and Shenzhen.

As a low cost carrier, Tiger Airways offers a single economy class service with an optional meal service and an inflight entertainment system provided at an extra cost (As at December 2007). The airline consists of a fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft. Flights can be booked online direct from the airlines website. Singapore Airlines currently holds a minority stake in the airline.
